Watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens brand new teaser trailer
Taking the center stage for this newest look at “The Force Awakens” is the mysterious masked villain everybody is talking about: Kylo Ren.
The trailer begins with what sounds like the voice of Andy Serkis’s Supreme Leader Snoke telling Kylo Ren: “There’s been an awakening”. Rey fires at Kylo Ren, who hacks at the lasers rather than elegantly deflecting them as Jedis of old did.
“The Force Awakens” brand new teaser was released and was considered “a total badass” for the diehard fans. Adam Driver confessed he hadn’t even told his wife that he’d scored the role of villain Kylo when Ren Abrams and LucasFilm tweeted out the first cast photo last April. He is shown in his X-wing spacecraft commanding other men in their X-wings to give it everything they have, to take the battle to the bad guys, flying their TIE fighters.
Star Wars actor Harrison Ford has admitted the relationship between his on-screen character Han Solo and Chewbacca is like that of “an old married couple”. “We all need to run”, John Boyega’s Finn warns.
The Force Awakens was issued with a PG-13 rating, making it only the second Star Wars film in the franchise to receive such a rating. This is the Han Solo of old. One fan, Rob Taylor posted “NO MORE TRAILERS”. The film hits theaters in the United States on December 18.
Star Wars fans received a Thanksgiving surprise Thursday as The Force Awakens’ official Facebook page dropped another minute-long preview for the much-anticipated film. And judging by this new trailer, it’ll definitely deliver that and much, much more.
It’s exciting that Star Wars movies are finally bringing forward a female character on the Dark Side, but it’s even more exciting when considering that Christie was actually the one that inspired the part.
