Watch Super Bowl 50 fans boo the hell out of Tom Brady
The game featured the highest-scoring quarter (combined 37 points in the fourth) in Super Bowl history as Carolina quarterback Jake Delhomme and the Patriots’ Tom Brady traded touchdown passes.
Why the boos? Is it because so many Denver fans attended the game to watch their Broncos, who beat Brady’s Pats two weeks ago in the AFC championship?
Additionally, the fact that the Patriots defeated a Seattle Seahawks team in Super Bowl XLIX that was almost identical to the squad that trounced Manning and the Broncos a season earlier speaks for itself. They are hard to win. “Any number of years that we’ve won it. I stand up here representing all those other guys too”. He’s one of the most accomplished playoff QBs ever. There’s a lot of conflict internally. And though he would be jealous if Peyton wins a ring, Brady would still be well ahead in that competition.
“I think there is always mixed emotions when you have people that you have competed with and competed against for so long”, Brady said.
I didn’t think there’d come a day when the Patriots were usurped from the Super Bowl, but the year has come, and I couldn’t be more excited.
The Patriots’ defense forced four turnovers en route to back-to-back Super Bowl titles.
