But Jake’s mission is threatened by JFK’s assassin Lee Harvey Oswald, his own feelings when he falls in love and the past itself, which, as Al explains ‘doesn’t want to be changed’. I thought this story and approach was so great because it’s a fresh way in.

The eight-part event series, based on Stephen King’s 2011 novel of the same name, premieres on President’s Day, February 15th. Her credits include hundreds of print and online publications, including The New York Times, People Magazine, Variety, Moviefone, TV Squad and more. “It’s a way to guide a new generation into what happened”.
Stephen King is a master of horror, but that is not the only genre in which the author excels. Are you a fan of King’s to begin with, and if so have you read the book? The story revolves around Jake, who is in the past to attempt to stop the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, but along the way he ends up building a life for himself. The adaptation stars James Franco and will be released on a weekly basis starting with its premiere on February 15, 2016 (Presidents Day).
Executive producer Bridget Carpenter said some changes have been made from the book, including the fact that Franco’s protagonist has a companion on his time-traveling journey. Probably for the best that time travel doesn’t exist, but if it did, perhaps there’s another timeline in which Franco is executive producer and Abrams is starring in the series.
The series also stars Josh Duhamel, T.R. Knight, Cherry Jones, Sarah Gadon, George MacKay, Lucy Fry, and Daniel Webber.
