Fans also had a mixed reaction to the news that Destiny 2 wouldn’t be available on Steam, with Bungie and Activision opting for the title to appear exclusively on Blizzard’s Battle.Net platform instead.

Truth be told, Destiny 2 doesn’t seem all that different from the first game.

Broken up by cutscenes that put a greater focus on characters new and familiar, the second half of the demo takes place on a Red Legion dropship where the player takes on a powerful boss called Brann The Urgent Blade.

Starting at 10:00am Pacific Time, Bungie will premiere first gameplay footage from Destiny 2. Immediately, there were plenty of similarities with its predecessor. Additionally, players will have a new HUD that displays information about their opponents, including whether their super is ready and if they’ve picked up power ammo. The one shown off in the gameplay presentation is called the Dawnblade, which is a wielded blade that can shoot projectiles from the air or be used to strike enemies.

At the end of this mission, Smith said, the forces of good are defeated. After Ghaul strips Guardians of their power, you must travel through the solar system, reunite the scattered heroes, and reclaim what was lost.

But the most glaring part of the story is the rumor about the PS4 exclusive content.

Bungie officially announced Destiny 2 on March 27.

“Creating a new network client for Destiny 2, which is bringing the franchise to PC for the first time, would needlessly extend the development period for the game”. What’s helpful to note is that players can fast travel between these worlds easily.

Destiny 2 comes out September 8th, three years and one day after the release of the original Destiny, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, the upcoming Xbox Scorpio, and PC.
