Watch The New Trailer For #Oceans8 Starring @Rihanna + @MindyKaling

The trailer for Ocean’s 8 has been eagerly awaited for months now and with a little bit of news here and there, the majority of the setup has remained fairly mysterious. The heist is to steal Anne Hathaway’s necklace at the Met Gala, a necklace which is valued at $150 million. Directed by Gary Ross, Ocean’s 8 is written by Ross and Olivia Milch. The film stars Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, and a slew of other wonderful actors in a feat of awesome casting.

Sandra Bullock stars as Danny Ocean’s formerly incarcerated sister Debbie, who puts together a team of highly skilled women for a jewelry heist at the annual Met Gala in New York City.

Ocean’s Eight includes cameos from A-list celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Zayn Malik, Serena Williams, James Corden and Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

In a nod to the opening scene of 2001’s Ocean’s Eleven, the trailer starts with Bullock in prison, apologising for her previous crimes and hopeful that she’s about to be granted parole.
