Watch the sweet moment young girl mistakes a man for Santa

Sarah’s dad shot the adorable video was shot on December 9th in Hurricane, West Virginia and has already been viewed over 127,000 times.

He even asks if he’s allowed to eat all the cookies she leaves him.

Naturally, given the time of year, she assumed it could only be one person – Santa.

She thought he was the main man from the North Pole and instead of bursting her bubble, he played along.

Sophia’s father, Robert Riley filmed the encounter, and posting it on Facebook said: “Sophia found Santa at Walmart this evening”.

“Santa” then asks the youngster if she’s been a good girl, and if she’s getting ready for Christmas.

“But I could promise her that if she looked under the tree on Christmas morning, she’d find a big Santa surprise”.

“You have to share them”, she says.

She happily tells him that she will be leaving out cookies for Father Christmas and his reindeer.

“So cute and innocent”.

It has since been revealed that “Santa Claus” was local man Roger Larck, who was shopping with his wife Robin.
