Watch this Wild NASCAR Trucks Race Finish
If this is what all NASCAR Truck Series events are like, sign me up.
They must have thought it said “throw down”.
A insane finish to Sunday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park led to a brawl between two drivers, Cole Custer and John Hunter Nemechek. In fact, it may well have topped them all. Here is Custer taking down Nemechek after the race in a bit of a scuffle that was quickly subdued.
Infuriated at being run into the wall in the final straight, Custer came flying to nail Nemechek with a solid tackle. They banged across the finish line with Nemechek’s truck just a little ahead.
Needless to say, Custer and his crew weren’t to pleased with how the race ended.
Nemechek was declared the race victor after taking out Custer at the start-finish line, and Custer showed his displeasure by charging Nemechek and tackling him in front of the flagstand.

“We had a really fast truck”.
“I got taken out”. “He hit me going into the second-to-last corner, and also he hit me again”.
“I knew he was going to drive me dirty all day no matter what”.
Nemechek, in contrast, felt he’d done nothing wrong.
“I caught the double-zero there and we didn’t wreck him for the win. Rubbin’ is racin'”, John Nemechek said. “Rubbin’s racing, but if I would’ve been in the same spot, he would’ve done the same thing to me to get a win”, Nemechek said in Victory Lane. “You have to do everything you can to get a win here”.
As for Nemechek’s controversial actions, NASCAR typically does not penalize drivers who crash a competitor while racing for the lead.
While this exchange between two Xfinity Series teammates was a particular highlight.
Even if he lost the brawl.
