Tonight HBO will premiere the first episode of “Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Houston Texans”. Episode #1 Debut: TUESDAY, August 11 (9:00-10:00 p.m. CT) Other hour-long episodes of the first sports-based reality series – and one of the fastest-turnaround programs on TV – debut subsequent Tuesdays at the same time, culminating in the September 8 season finale.
Penn State alumna Shannon Furman, the show’s assistant director, has been working on “Hard Knocks” since May when it was announced that the Texans would be the recipients of a show that many NFL coaches have been hesitant to agree to. I’m not really concerned about cameras.
