Watson goes for $1.4 million in IPL auction

From a whopping Rs 14 crore in 2014 to Rs 16 crore in 2015 and now down to Rs 7 crore, Yuvraj is not the only one who value has gone down among franchises as wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik has also moved southward from Rs 12.5 crores in 2014 (DD) to Rs 10.5 crores in 2015 (RCB) and now to Rs 2.3 crores for the Gujarat Lions. Watson earlier played for Rajasthan Royals, which is suspended for two years along with Chennai Super Kings after their officials were found to be in touch with illegal bookmakers during the 2013 season. Suresh Raina led Gujarat Lions, also tried for Kevin but failed to get the disastrous batsman onto their side.
