Weather: Chance for rain, storms over next few days

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a higher chance for rain and storms, forecasters said. Heat index values will range from 105 to 110.
Rain chances will continue into Tuesday and Wednesday as our unsettled weather pattern continues. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 75. “We’ll climb into the mid-80s but with scattered showers and storms”.
Thursday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 90.
Rainfall between one-tenth and one-quarter inch is possible, with higher amounts if thunderstorms take place. Towards the later afternoon and evening commute hours, showers and thunderstorms will make their push to the east, eventually landing in Mid-Michigan. Friday might be our driest day of the week while next weekend is beginning to show signs of some very hot and humid weather.
With fair skies overhead, high temperatures are forecast to climb a bit more. Our skies will remain mostly cloudy tonight and it will be muggy with lows around 70.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 86.
The chance of storms will increase to 40 percent Monday night when the low will be 77.
Saturday: Chance of isolated showers.
