Weather forecast: Warning of heavy rain and possible flooding in south east
The rain will be heavy at times, more particularly over the hills.
The forecaster has put out a yellow warning for rain in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray.
The Met Office has issued warnings of heavy rain that will threaten flooding and travel disruption in western Scotland on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.
“This will bring some persistent rain to many areas, and as it clears, some locally intense rainfall is possible”.
Throughout tomorrow and Wednesday a prolonged period of heavy rain accompanied by strong winds is expected to affect the UK. Southwesterly gales are likely along south coasts for a time.
Surrey and Hampshire are both expected to be hit, along with Brighton and Hove, East Sussex, Isle of Wight, Kent, Portsmouth, Southampton, West Berkshire and West Sussex.

The organisation also warned of potential flooding which could lead to traffic disruption.
Tonight will be colder compared to last night, but largely dry.
Strong winds are also forecast but the Met Office has not issued any weather warnings at this stage for the south west. Serve weather warnings for rain are in place in Scotland.
