Week 11 Preview: Redskins at Panthers

Cam Newton has the Carolina Panthers on the verge of a 10-0 start to the National Football League season with flashy touchdown celebration dances that have drawn harsh reviews from critics.

Redskins coach Jay Gruden said, “He’s answered the challenge and he’s done a good job”.

In wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin’s absence, tight end Greg Olsen has emerged as the alpha in Carolina’s passing game. There’s no incentive to have the best record, home-field doesn’t mean what it used to and the Super Bowl rarely crowns the best team from that season, it merely identifies the team that made the playoffs who ended up playing the best in January/February.

The Panther’s schedule through 10 weeks hasn’t been extremely challenging.

Prediction: Panthers 23, Redskins 22. Newton took offense and chose to do something about it.
