Weekend could bring first snow of the season for St. Louis
Monday, there’s a chance of snow showers with a high near 26 and a low around 18.
Little or no snow accumulation is expected but up to a quarter of an inch of rain is possible, with the rain becoming likely after 11 a.m., according to the weather service.
A daytime high of 51 degrees is forecast. The overnight low is expected to be near 9.
By Thursday, the clouds should start to dissipate and sunshine makes a comeback, bringing temperatures to a an unseasonably warm 71 degrees, which is 10 degrees above normal for this time of year.
Saturday’s forecast calls for partly sunny skies with a high of 27 and an overnight low of 13. Thursday night temperatures should fall to a low of 44 under clear skies and with the southwest winds calming after midnight.
The chance of snow drops slightly to 50 percent Friday night with under an inch of new accumulation possible.
The chance of snow in Denver increases as the day progresses, according to he weather service, with a 70 percent chance of snow during the afternoon as the high temperature climbs to about 34 degrees. This could make for hazardous traveling on Saturday, forecasters say.
