​Wenger: Walcott Arsenal’s first choice striker

Arsenal won the most recent meeting between these two back in March in a 2-0 victory at the Emirates. Wenger hopes that Ramsey will be able to return after the global break in November, but that seems to be the optimistic timeline.

Arsene Wenger has a couple of tough decisions to make this weekend as Olivier Giroud provides a different sort of threat but most definitely made an impact midweek and I think the frenchman probably deserves a start here.

“But we got punished. Realistically, the real breather he could have had was against Andorra”. And Wenger told the club’s official website that each of the players would not be available for selection until the festive period is over at the earliest.

Wenger also admits it will be the new year before Danny Welbeck, Jack Wilshere and Tomas Rosicky are fit again.

“What is the most important for me is to continue to develop as a team, to feel that we grow in the quality of our game”.

‘It is hard because it is sometimes common sense and you can not predict every single situation with a rule.

Sanchez is on fire at present, hitting ten goals for club and country in his last seven matches and will fancy his chances of adding to that tally on Saturday evening.

A win against Everton at the Emirates tonight would enable Arsenal to leapfrog Manchester City and claim the top perch ahead of the Manchester derby tomorrow.
