West Ham ready to pay £13.2m for Italian global forward
Juventus striker Simone Zaza could be on the verge of a move to West Ham according to the latest reports in Italy.
The Hammers are also being tipped to land Emmanuel Adebayor on loan and it is possible boss Slaven Bilic is keen to bring in more than one striker before the transfer window closes.
That has left them with just Diafra Sakho to lead the line, with Andy Carroll still on the injury list and Modibo Maiga not favoured, although he did manage a goal in the loss to Bournemouth on Saturday.
Juventus are said to have received several offers for the Italian worldwide forward, who has apparently failed to impress Max Allegri in the Bianconeri’s pre-season preparations.
Zaza made his senior Italy debut last September, winning a penalty, and he scored his first global goal in their European Qualifier against Norway.
And West Ham have put themselves at the front of the queue to sign Zaza.
Juve are willing to send Zaza to West Ham on a 12-month loan for €3 million, with the option to sign permanently for €15 million.
