What’s open and closed on Labor Day in Long Beach
All city, county, state and federal offices will be closed Monday in observance of Labor Day.
Washington, Osage, and Nowata county offices will be closed on Monday as well.
Fairfield Public Library is closed Monday. Offices will open on Tuesday at their normal time.
Regular trash, recycling and bulk collections are NOT scheduled for that day.
Glasgow-Barren County Chamber of Commerce will be closed Monday.
Businesses that have city waste management services for their dumpsters (landfill-bound and recycling) normally receiving pick-up on Mondays will have their units picked up on Tuesday, September 6th.
Parks and Recreation: Administrative offices will be closed on Labor Day, but both the Robert A. Lee and Mercer / Scanlon recreational facilities will be open from 11 a.m.to 8 p.m. Monday garbage collection with Tuesday collection.
There will be no Transit Service on Monday.
Rome News-Tribune will be closed Monday, but a paper will be delivered.
Cardinal community schools are closed Monday.
Water: The office will be closed. The collection schedule will be pushed back one day for the entire week, with Friday’s trash collected on Saturday.
