When Rajinikanth got stuck at Chennai airport
Rajinikanth, the superstar who enjoys God like status in South India, was on Tuesday not allowed to board a flight at the Chennai airport.
Tamil movie actor Rajinikanth arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA ), as fans and onlookers scrambled to fish out their mobile phones to snap a picture of the superstar at 6.15pm Monday.
As per reports, the veteran actor was heading towards Malaysia for shooting for his upcoming movie Kabali when he was stopped by the airport authorities. A while later, his assistant has brought the passport and Rajni loaded onto the flight.
Rajinikanth immediately alerted one of his staff to bring the passport who took the passport form Thalaivar’s home came rushing to the airport in a two wheeler and handed over the passport on time. The news spread and media persons and fans made a beeline to catch a glimpse of Rajini. The movie, directed by Pa Ranjith, has Radhika Apte, Dhanshikaa and Kalaiarasan in the lead.
Rajinikanth first arrived to begin shooting for Kabali on Oct 26 past year.
