Where to watch tonight’s Republican debate
The sixth Republican primary presidential debate will be hosted by Fox Buisness Network on Thursday night and will once again be split into two segments – a first round debate with three candidates and the primetime debate with seven of the top-tier candidates. FBN’s first debate also set a new ratings record for the network, bringing in 13.5 million viewers. An undercard debate too place earlier in the evening, and the main debate will be shown on TV on the Fox Business network from 9 p.m. ET.
Prime-time candidates: Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Jeb Bush and John Kasich.
The debate lineups factored in both national polls, as well as those based in Iowa and New Hampshire conducted and released prior to Monday, January 11 at 6 p.m. ET.
And Donald Trump, who collects Bibles, has taken to waving one at campaign events. The debate will also be streamed live at FoxBusiness.com and on the Fox News app – and no sign-in will be required.
The kids’ table debate starts at 6pm Eastern/3pm Pacific/1am Benghazi time.
Former businesswoman Carly Fiorina and Kentucky Senator Rand Paul were demoted from the main stage to the so-called undercard debate, with former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee and former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum.
This will be one of the last chances for presidential hopefuls to sway voters before the February 1 Iowa caucus.
As it did for a Republican debate it covered in November, Fox Business will be made available to subscribers to certain systems.
Trump has been bringing up Cruz’s citizenship as an issue for some time.
