Where you can legally use fireworks for July 4 holiday

Leon Valley July 4th Parade and Festival: Leon Valley’s Independence Day celebration kicks off with a 5K Fun Run.

It is illegal for residents to use fireworks within Davidson County. A firework display closes the evening. The picnic features food, rides, games, music and booths. “Depends on which (Black Bull Fireworks) store it is, but at the ones near the border, I’d say up to 70 percent of our business is IL residents”.

Cities big and small across the United States will celebrate the country’s Independence Day with fireworks displays on Wednesday night.

A fireworks show over Lake Menomin starts at dusk.

4th of July Celebration at Bayou Bend Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Specifically, a handful of MI state parks and recreation areas where a fireworks-free Fourth of July experience is being offered.

Troy: Troy’s Old Fashioned Fourth of July will feature a parade, auto show, arts and crafts vendors, food booths, and much more in Roosevelt Park.

The carnival and parade begins at 10 a.m.

The town’s annual Independence Day Parade starts at 2 p.m.at Haas Cabinet Company on West Utica Street and ends at the American Legion post at 412 North New Albany St.

From New York to New Mexico, July Fourth events will celebrate what Americans have in common. Fireworks begin at 10:25 p.m.at the Fort Hall Rodeo Grounds.

July 3 fireworks may be used and discharged until 1 a.m. on July 4, on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24 may be used and discharged until 1 a.m. on Dec. 25, and on Dec. 31, fireworks may be used and discharged until 1 a.m. January 1. 3 from 9 a.m. -10 p.m.

Waterford will host a fireworks display on Saturday following the Waterford Steamboat Meet at the Harbor Visitors Center.

The Rose Bowl will host the 92nd Annual AmericaFest, which includes performances by “American Idol” victor Maddie Poppe and a Michael Jackson sing-a-long. It all starts at 5:30 p.m., with food, kids’ zone and live music.

The Glens Falls Symphony Orchestra has its annual free summer pops concert in Crandall Park featuring works by NY composers.

Largo: Family-friendly events and activities are happening at the Largo Central Park, 101 Central Park Drive, beginning at 6 p.m. Fireworks show is scheduled for 9:15 p.m.

Despite the firestorm, which destroyed 5,300 homes in Sonoma County alone, spinners, sparklers and other personal fireworks can be purchased this week in four of nine local cities.
