Leon Valley July 4th Parade and Festival: Leon Valley’s Independence Day celebration kicks off with a 5K Fun Run.

July 3 fireworks may be used and discharged until 1 a.m. on July 4, on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24 may be used and discharged until 1 a.m. on Dec. 25, and on Dec. 31, fireworks may be used and discharged until 1 a.m. January 1. 3 from 9 a.m. -10 p.m.
Waterford will host a fireworks display on Saturday following the Waterford Steamboat Meet at the Harbor Visitors Center.
The Rose Bowl will host the 92nd Annual AmericaFest, which includes performances by “American Idol” victor Maddie Poppe and a Michael Jackson sing-a-long. It all starts at 5:30 p.m., with food, kids’ zone and live music.
The Glens Falls Symphony Orchestra has its annual free summer pops concert in Crandall Park featuring works by NY composers.
Largo: Family-friendly events and activities are happening at the Largo Central Park, 101 Central Park Drive, beginning at 6 p.m. Fireworks show is scheduled for 9:15 p.m.
