While the Lakers burn, Kobe Bryant just keeps shooting and laughing
So far, Bryant is shooting 31 percent from the field and 19.5 percent from three-point land.
“He just wasn’t making them…I got faith in Kobe that he’ll be okay, but tonight he was really struggling”, Scott said as per Laker Nation’s Serena Winter. “That’s not an option whatsoever”.
Earlier in November, Bryant said he was still undecided.
Scott said the two have specifically talked about how to develop the young players, although he also said Kupchack hasn’t tried to meddle with his coaching decisions. He said that the 38-year-old Bryant is not even close to the Kobe Bryant, who once scored 81 points in a single game and averaged 35.4 points in a season. His field-goal percentage and 3-point percentage this season both rank last among qualified players. Last season, Bryant ranked 301st in the National Basketball Association and 55th among shooting guards, the position he primarily played.
Of course everyone knew about the Warriors winning their 16th straight game to open the season, but Kobe Bryant did not leave Oracle Arena without setting a milestone of his own.
The truth is, Bryant just cannot hit shots like he once could and as a result, his team is not scoring as many points as they once did.
The hole keeps getting deeper for Kobe Bryant and the Lakers. While the Lakers were back at practice at their El Segundo facility Wednesday, Bryant was told to stay home for rest. We accomplished it, and now we have to make sure that we don’t drop off and give a game away just because we broke this record.
Curry said Messi’s style of play has that certain creativity he likes to emulate to his game. I didn’t think the Lakers had a chance at winning, but i at least wanted to see the Lakers put up some resistance vs the Warriors.
“I’m not really anxious about it, honestly”, said Bryant of his shooting. I’m 6ft 3in. You just try to do a lot of different things on the court. “So obviously he’ll play (Saturday) and then we’ll see how he feels Sunday and we’ll go from there”.
Barkley singled out Kobe’s over-reliance on his signature (and much imitated) pump fake as the reason why Kobe can’t seem to get a bucket this season. It’s going to get worse before it gets better, and the two usual suspects are to blame.
