White House: Trump, Xi committed to denuclearization of Korean Peninsula

Trump tweeted Friday: “Military solutions are now fully in place, locked and loaded, should North Korea act unwisely”.
He added: “Hopefully Kim Jong Un will find another path!”
The state-run KCNA news agency has previously accused the USA president of driving the region “to the brink of nuclear war”.

Trump, meanwhile, continues to pursue a diplomatic solution to North Korea’s purported development of a nuclear warhead that could reach the United States and other countries on an intercontinental ballistic missile.
Japan has also assured its support for the island should an attack be imminent.

China, North Korea’s most important ally and trading partner, has reiterated calls for calm during the current crisis.
