White nationalists celebrate Trump’s victory at conference

A newly released video shows a room full of people doing the Hitler salute and yelling “Hail Trump!” after listening to a speech about white nationalism that invokes Nazi terminology.

Spencer took dead aim at Jews, claiming they are part of the an elite global power structures created to protect the status quo from populist outsiders like Trump.

After most of the cameras and the reporters had left the conference on Saturday, Spencer’s tone took a drastic and ugly turn.
But the first step toward gaining public legitimacy is to attract media coverage that frames Spencer and his institute as a savvy group of political outsiders ready to disrupt the Washington, D.C., establishment.

During the press hour, Spencer said that he thinks the alt-right will now have influence over the government with Trump in charge.
Meanwhile, Bannon has developed a platform for the “alt-right” to spew hatred.
The agenda of the National Policy Institute’s Saturday meeting included a breakdown of the 2016 election and plans for the growth of the alt right. “We are the culture creators of the right”.
The statement followed the news that federal property, the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, had been used as a venue for a conference hosted by the National Policy Institute (NPI).
Trump has denounced the racism perpetuated by the alt-right movement, CNN reported.
By the way, the term “alt-right” was just recently coined by Spencer.
White supremacists have credited Trump’s win with sparking a new interest in their movement.
Demonstrations have been increasing across the country, protesting Trump’s election and his subsequent appointments, especially the appointment of Stephen Bannon as the White House strategist and chief counselor.
