Who Is ‘Sleepy Hollow’ Federal Bureau of Investigation Agent Abbie Mills On ‘Bones’?

This Halloween is shaping up to be pretty special because, in the run-up to the annual spooky celebration, the cast of “Bones” and of “Sleepy Hollow” will briefly collide in a one-off crossover episode that will see these detectives collaborate on an unusual case. An 18th century spy named Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) has risen from the grave centuries after being killed by the Headless Horseman, and stuck in modern day New York he is forced to join forces with a police officer named Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) to stop the also escaped Horseman who’s now on a killing spree.

One of the most interesting shows to look forward to this Halloween is “Bones” season 11 episode 5 titled “The Resurrection in the Remains” and “Sleepy Hollow” season 3 episode 5 called “Dead Men Tell No Tales”, both airing on October 29.

“Bones” executive producer Jonathan Collier, together with “Sleepy Hollow” executive producer Clifton Campbell had an interview with The Hollywood Reporter last week to talk about the coming crossover and what fans can expect from that episode. Campbell said, “Pairing them up together is something that I think our fans and their fans will enjoy seeing as they process the same case together”.

Campbell reveals, “Within that challenge became the fun of making this work. At a certain point midway, when we pass off from their episode to our episode, the supernatural really kicks in and it’s like looking at two sides of the same coin”. Booth is a veteran in the agency while Abbie is at the beginning of her career.

One of the stars of Fox’s Sleepy Hollow was not initially impressed with the idea of doing a crossover with Bones.

The sharp contrast between the scientific and the mythic is something fans wouldn’t want to miss. Dig in, and let us know if you’ll be watching!
