Who Will Play a Young Han Solo? Maybe It’s You!
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” has to live up to its expectation, nothing more, nothing less. “I think the people who are complaining about that probably have bigger problems than ‘there’s a black stormtrooper'”.
The spin-off focuses on how the younger Han Solo became the smuggler, thief and scoundrel whom Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi first encountered in the cantina at Mos Eisley.
Touching on the subject of spoilers, the actor explained: “I have something coming out where there’s an amount of money where if it leaks, because of me, I don’t get that payment”. I had them all in a Darth Vader carrying case and with my friends we would play and fight them back and forth.
“I was sitting in my trailer”.
According to Spinoff, Lucas sold Star Wars for millions of money. There has been a lot of talk of a new Indiana Jones movie and, should the stars align, Ford say he’s totally down. The best bit is about the intensive way Adam Driver is going about his role as the villain Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Kylo Ren. There’s a low-quality version that has been ported to YouTube which does work in virtual reality mode, but I had problems watching it because it was so pixellated. I had that same wave of emotion happen to me when I was on Skellig Michael in Ireland.
Could you see any of those as a young Han Solo?
As we noted last week, the headsets are launching alongside a VR-based teaser for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which is being released in snippets right up until the film’s premiere on December 18th. Appearing on Good Morning America in the United States, the 73-year-old actor, who reprises his role as Solo from the original trilogy, described The Force Awakens as “a wonderful movie”, adding: “It’s got great production values”.
“When you look at Star Wars and Empire, they are very different lightsaber battles, but for me they felt more powerful because they were not quite as slick [as the prequels]”.
