Who Will Win The Bachelorette Tonight?
When we left Rachel two weeks ago, she was on her date with Peter and trying to figure out where they stood on things. Forgoing the standard “After the Final Rose” special, Rachel relived her emotional parting with Peter, which took place hours ahead of the final rose ceremony. Because Peter is a real, honest human being, he has a few doubts about promising Rachel that they’ll live happily ever when the cameras disappear. They seem legitimately into one another, they take each other seriously, and Peter seems both grounded and capable of having fun.
“I always said I would know the person I’m supposed to be with is someone I couldn’t picture my life without”, she said before Bryan got down on one knee.
Next, it’s time for Bryan’s final one-on-one date.
Rachel’s dog, Copper, should really make the final choice.
‘What is wrong with me?’ he was heard asking himself after her dramatic exit. As they ride horses through a vineyard in Rioja, Spain, he says he feels like he is ready to be engaged. “It’s just that I have stronger feelings for the other two guys here”. “Peter is so good looking that I wouldn’t even be able to form sentences around him”, she tweeted. He explains that he was a boy, but Rachel made him a man (in the Fantasy Suite?). Peter admits he’s in love with her, but he isn’t confident enough in his feelings to know he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. Ouch. “I didn’t come this far and put my life on hold.to just have a boyfriend at the end of it”, she told him.
And finally-and maybe most importantly-that eventual victor, Bryan Abasolo, was not who viewers had predicted would win, going into the episode.
“The runner-up has all the qualities Rachel was looking for, and everybody thinks they would have been much better together”, the insider said. But Lindsay was quick to remind Kraus that she is doing just fine without him.
And while she repeatedly told Peter Kraus she was looking for a marriage, the 31-year-old ultimately couldn’t deliver.
So who won Rachel Lindsay’s heart in the end? While her family had obvious doubts about him, Rachel was distinctly frustrated that they didn’t immediately love him, and became seriously defensive when they tried to raise questions about him. Bryan – the man who consumes Rachel’s face whenever they’re making out, so it looks like, as my friend says, “a dementor sucking the soul out of a handsome and innocent muggle” – and Rachel are engaged.
