Whoopi Goldberg, Raven Symone Defend Kelly Osbourne for Comments on Latinos
In a sneak peak of THIS FRIDAY’S episode of The Soup, Joel McHale knocked Kelly Osbourne down a peg for her comments on Latinos. Later, she left the “Fashion Police” team.
In defense, Rosie Perez who hosted the show added that Latinos are not the only people in the country doing that job.
Sometimes, sometimes not, but definite gay icon wannabe, Katie Hopkins has lashed out (yes lashed, but we could of used the words slammed, blasted or sucker punched) at Kelly Osbourne over her remarks on The View, in which she said “If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilets, Donald Trump?”
“I am not a person who shies away from the mistakes that I commit”. “I don’t quite understand how it got this big, considering Rosie and I are really good friends … she felt bad because she knew when she stopped me I didn’t get to finish my point, but I also knew that she was only trying to protect her community, which she should, and I couldn’t understand why she was apologizing”.
Meanwhile, Osbourne posted on Instagram on Wednesday that she is responsible for her “poor choice of words” but not for being a racist.
Several Twitter users have been grilling Osbourne on the inappropriateness of her cooment, including Shepherd, who will be returning to “The View” as a co-host next season.
The comedian went on to explain that those kinds of slip-ups are run-of-the-mill for a live talk show like “The View“. “My apologies Kelly Osbourne, I took your point wrong-#Trump #Latinos”. Yet, in the wake of the incident, co-host Nicolle Wallace, who was not present for Osbourne’s flub, had some thoughts to share. In the video posted below, a savvy paparazzi attempts to sneak in a question about the Kelly Osbourne controversy while Rancic was walking to her auto with her husband, Bill Rancic.
Yet, something still tells me that the liberal ladies at The View would never call a similar gaff from a GOP candidate “a boo-boo”. After her Facebook apology, some 4000 people has liked her status which might be her ticket to redemption.
