Why Cam Newton left his post-Super Bowl press conference early
Much was said about Cam Newton walking out of his post Super Bowl news conference after about three minutes.
Manning, 39, became the oldest quarterback to win the Super Bowl when the Broncos upset the Panthers 24-10 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
While Manning was serviceable Sunday night, it was Denver’s defense that muddied up the game, causing Superman Cam Newton to look more like Clark Kent. Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller was a problem for the Panthers from the start, causing two strip-sack fumbles, one of which led to the Broncos’ first touchdown.
But it was the top-ranked Denver defence that can claim credit for the victory after holding the league’s highest-scoring offence to a single touchdown and 10 points.
After the win, the question on everyone’s mind was if this was Manning’s final game.
“Oh my goodness”, she told the Times. We let them do all the talking. Just because he’s been through a lot, he’s going to be 40 years old (in March). Both teams were set up quite close to each other, leading to Panthers hearing the joyous boasts of Broncos players. He loves this team. “They had a great get-off”, Remmers said. I want to go kiss my wife and my kids, I want to go hug my family.
And when asked if he would be buying, MVP Miller was only too happy to oblige.
“So, I’m going to take care of those things first”, he continued.
“I know you’re disappointed not just for yourself, but for your teammates”. So if Archie Manning truly doesn’t know whether Manning will retire or not, it still makes sense why he’d think that his son won’t be playing in Denver next year.
Anheuser-Busch on Monday issued a formal statement insisting the company did not pay Denver Broncos’ quarterback Peyton Manning to say he would celebrate his Super Bowl 50 victory with a Budweiser. This has kind of come to a head.
