Why Final Fantasy 15’s Cast Wears All Black
If you’ve been keeping up with Final Fantasy XV, you might have been wondering why all of its main characters wear black. In case you are unaware, the main characters in the game are all wearing black.
But why? Well, game director Hajime Tabata explains the dark design embraced by your party members. A few fans had theories, but there was no confirmation from the developers.
Tabata notes that the various members are part of a specific organization within the kingdom and how their clothes are stylized attributes to what station they are in regards to military rank. “In the Kingdom of Lucis where our heroes reside, the color black has historically been treated as a special color. Because of this, the attire of the royal family and those in occupations closely tied to them are unified by having black as a base coloring”, he explained.
“Final Fantasy XV” will have new details on more open world gameplay, battle effects on clothing and rumored PC version launch date for next year.
Any how, Final Fantasy XV still doesn’t have a release date (although we know it will be out in 2016) and the saturation of open world titles being released alongside it will also need to be considered once we have a release date.
From November 2 through 15, the world of Final Fantasy will be visiting the world of Puzzle & Dragons. Square Enix will be present in the event along with other major personalities and companies in the gaming industry like Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and Platinum Games, according to Christian Today.
