Why Jamie Foxx read out the wrong victor — Golden Globes
GettyJamie FoxxSteve Harvey couldn’t escape the 73rd Golden Globe ceremony unscathed.
Jamie Foxx poked fun at Steve Harvey by announcing the wrong victor of the Best Original Score award at the Golden Globes on Sunday.
It was just a few weeks ago that Steve Harvey accidentally announced the wrong Miss Universe, and now Jamie Foxx has done the same thing at the Golden Globes… sort of. I take full responsibility.
The real victor of the award was Ennio Morricone for Quentin Tarantino’s “The Hateful Eight”, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Ha ha, OK – are we done with this yet? After Party: The 2016 Golden Globes at 11 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. PT. And don’t miss the Fashion Police Golden Globes special Monday at 8 p.m., only on E! “I apologise to everybody in Compton, I apologise to (producer) Ice Cube, I’m sorry…!”
This was a light hearted jab thrown at Steve Harvey, who late a year ago wrongly crowned a wrong contester as the victor of Miss.
Jamie Foxx’s daughter is all grown up! “When I saw favorite composer, I don;t mean movie composer, that ghetto, I am talking about Mozart, I am talking about Beethovan…that’s who I am talking about”.
He added, “Ennio Morricone has never won an award for any one individual movie that he has done”.
