Why Salman Khan is grateful to Aamir Khan for Bajrangi Bhaijaan?
In a show with NDTV, Salman Khan got to interact with Geeta, the mute Indian girl who got lost in Pakistan and wanted to go home. He has a message of hope for the 23-year-old: “We are all working hard to find your family”. More news coming in about the same from Salman Khan, this time: During a press conference, Salman was asked about the issue to which the actor replied in his inimitable style, “He (Aamir) told me he was offered the film earlier and he sent it to me”. It eulogizes Bhai’s movies, including his latest blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan and several other 100 core films, that became trendsetters in the world of Bollywood.
While talking to Salman Khan live, the star first thanked Bilqis Apa for taking good care of her for all these years. “The way Geeta is dressed looking so lovely in such nice clothes, it shows that you really took care of her as if she was your own daughter”. Bilquis Edhi revealed how Geeta used to wake up at Sehri during Ramazan and also fast the whole month, whilst also praying to Ganesha, the Hindu diety. She added that even if her family may not be able to recognize her, she remembers their faces and will be able to know them.
Be it Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi or Jaipur; Salman Khan’s fans love and adore their hero and place them on a pedestal.
People stepping forward, insisting that Geeta is their daughter could be because of the fact that money has been allotted to reunite Geeta with her family.
After being introduced to Geeta, Salman spoke highly of Bilquis Edhi and thanked her profusely. The Indian government is making efforts to track down the Geeta’s family. He said he won’t rest until Geeta’s parents are found.
