Why This Legislator From Andhra Pradesh is Open to ‘Accepting Bribe’
JC Prabhakar Reddy represents Tadipatri constituency Andhra Pradesh’ Anantapur district.
He said that he will be accepting bribe publicly and use that money for developmental works in the region.
I will take bribes from contractors. I will display the names of those who have given me the money.
Financial situation of the state prompted me to take this decision… He, however, hastened to add that he would take the bribes only to use the money for the development of his constituency. And I will show what I have done (with that money).
Stressing that his motive was aimed at the progress of his constituency, the legislator said, “There is no money in Andhra Pradesh”.
“We should do a few good work so that people remember us even after death”, said Prabhakar Reddy, who earlier served as mayor of Tadipatri.
He is the brother of J. C. Diwakar Reddy, a TDP MP who is also known for making controversial statements.
