Also countless fans and celebrities took to social media to prise him after his death. However, his only daughter Zelda, aged 25, decided to call it a quit. In fact, she planned to give up using social media after insensitive posters and internet trolls added to her anguish.
In a state of desolation
Needless to say, the only daughter of the legendary actor must be in an utter state of despair after this shocking incident. Robin Williams’ single daughter Zelda was compelled to abandon using social media after the young lady was unnecessarily harassed and bullied by Internet trolls after the expiry of her late father. Robin Williams was a talented actor and a great comedian who took his own like at the age of 63. It is indeed a huge loss for the industry and the fans.
Cruel and unnecessary messages
The 25 years daughter was forced to quit her online social media accounts in disgust after what she said “cruel and unnecessary” messages. It is a move that in fact incited Twitter to explore how to deal with such redundant situations. Fans as well as well wishers quickly marched to her defence, and the accounts of both the alleged bullies were held up by Wednesday. Facebook said the photo breached its policy and was flagged and eliminated on both the platforms.
However, she politely said to her Instagram fans and followers, “I will be leaving this account for a bit while I heal and decide if I’ll be deleting it or not.” She also wrote, “In this difficult time, please try to be respectful of the accounts of myself, my family and my friends. Mining our accounts for photos of dad, or judging me on the number of them is cruel and unnecessary. There are a couple throughout, but the real private moments I shared with him were precious, quiet, and believe it or not, not full of photos or ‘selfies’.”
