Will the Patriots Go Undefeated in 2015?
It’s not improbable, but that’s assuming they survive a road trip to Denver where the Broncos are playing quite possibly the best football in the NFL outside of New England.
While fans may be foaming at the mouth to see another flawless season, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady told WEEI’s Dennis and Callahan Show that he doesn’t feel any pressure to win every game this year because he’s singularly focused on the next game and the next game alone.
“That would be the furthest thing from anybody’s mind”, he said. “I [couldn’t] really care less about those type of things”. I have no legit stats to back up the idea of the Redskins showing up and giving the Pats a game, I’m just saying that it tends to happen with a perceived cakewalk at least once a year and this game is a prime candidate.
When I say “trap game”, I essentially mean the Patriots might get an annoyingly strong effort from the Redskins and have to prevail with the “We’re Belichick & Brady and You’re Not” strategy late in the fourth quarter. It sounds like a cliche but it’s not, because it works, and it’s what our team’s about.
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) – The New England Patriots are experienced with not overlooking any opponent regardless of the records coming into a game.
“Like I said, every week you put together a different plan”. And then you get one chance to go out there and do it on Sunday. “It’s really hard to win”, Brady said Monday. We was awarded the September AFC Offensive Player of the Month title, and was somehow robbed of the October title by Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton. “You’ve got to keep working at it”.
As he always does, coach Bill Belichick has focused on Sunday’s opponent.
According to the Patriots, it’s the 25th time in Brady’s career that he has received the AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors.
