Will the Warriors win 73 or more games this season?
Golden State routed the Los Angeles Lakers 111-77 on Tuesday to notch the record-setting victory, which broke a tie with the 1993-94 Houston Rockets and 1948-49 Washington Capitals.
Bryant’s performance included two really bad airballs. Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant also had a hard time dealing with the Warriors, as he finished with just four points on a measly 1-for-14 clip from the field. So we gotta keep it going.
The team’s historic winning streak included 11 games in which they won by double digits, meaning they have cruised to wins of 10 points or more 69 percent of the time.
The Golden State Warriors improved to 16-0 this season, rolling the Los Angeles Lakers Tuesday evening.
Bryant is averaging a team-high 15.2 points and playing 30.5 minutes per game, second-most on the team behind Jordan Clarkson (30.8).
So far this season, Curry and company have continued where they left off last season, when they Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2015 NBA Finals to win their first championship in 40 years.
“I doubt it, I highly doubt it”, joked NBA MVP Stephen Curry.
“I think Draymond shocked everybody besides himself”, said Richardson, Golden State’s first-round pick taken fifth overall in the 2001 draft.
Scott added, “As far as knowing him the way I know him and how long as he’s played in this league, I’m not anxious about him finding it”.
So as Kobe Bryant struggles through an abysmal season, when he’s shooting 31.1% from the floor and an even more dismal 19.5% from the 3, a look through stats from players on Bill Simmons’ Hall of Fame Pyramid shows it could be the worst ending for a great player in history.
Kobe Bryant’s impending retirement is dominating chatter at water coolers and barber shops across the nation.
Three sets of back-to-back fixtures ahead of December 25th will test Warriors’ strength in depth, as will three stretches where they play three games in four nights, but Curry is proud of his team’s achievements to date.
“Yeah, they could do it – because they’re good”, Bryant said via USA Today.
Curry said he had discussed an assault on the benchmark with his teammates but assured reporters on a conference call the team would not get distracted by the pursuit of records.
“Maybe they’re just giving him the 3s”.
“Even though I didn’t retire a Warrior, you guys make me feel like a Warrior for life”, he told the crowd.
Other stars have taken on lesser roles later in their career, but not Bryant.
