Willem Dafoe Joins Justice League Cast as A Good Guy
Chris Terrio wrote the screenplay, while Charles Roven, Zack Snyder and Deborah Snyder are producing.
Comic book movie fans will see another familiar face in next year’s Justice League film. It will mark as the first time that Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), The Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) team up on the silver screen to take down a force mightier themselves.
Now, Dafoe is joining another iconic comic book franchise. Unfortunately, there are no details about which specific role he will be taking on, though it’s safe to assume Warner Bros. didn’t just cast him as the new Green Lantern. Aside from the seeds we saw planted during the events of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, we know very little about how the titular League will even come together, and what sort of threat they will face when they do.
Willem Dafoe is set to play a good guy in the new Justice League, switching Marvel for DC. Now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, they’ve tapped another Spider-Man star to join the cast.
The first Justice League movie is now in production and it will be released on November 17, 2017.
Warner Bros. bosses recently revealed J.K. Simmons has signed on as Gotham City Police Commissioner Gordon.
Dafoe’s recent credits include “The Fault in Our Stars” and “John Wick”.
