William and Kate release photos for Prince George’s birthday
Happy third birthday, Prince George!
“It was a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere”, said Porteous, who took the pictures at Anmer Hall ― the family’s 10-bedroom country house on Queen Elizabeth II’s Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, eastern England ― in mid-July.
According to People Magazine, photographer Matt Porteous captured the shots of Prince George.
The prince’s parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, said they were excited about sharing the images to mark their older child’s milestone.
Fans flipped when Britain’s Kensington Palace released four new photos of Prince George Friday (July 22) to mark the young royal’s third birthday.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be celebrating Prince George all day today.
However, not long after the family made their way to the show the noise and excitement got to Prince George and he broke out in a fit of crying.
Dressed in casual shorts and a t-shirt, George is the ideal picture in another candid portrait which sees him playing happily on a swing.
The images show George in a blue and white striped top and a pair of navy blue shorts.
Today’s low-key birthday gathering is a contrast to George’s first birthday, which was a rather formal Beatrix Potter-themed party at Kensington Palace.
Sitting on a picnic blanket in the garden of William and Kate’s family home, George holds out his ice cream to Lupo who seems to be resisting the urge to lick it.
In one of the images, George is pictured offering ice cream to the much-loved family dog Lupo. Can you believe it’s been three years since the world’s press waited outside the Lindo of St Mary’s Hospital in anticipation of the arrival of the royal baby?
George is behind his grandfather, Prince Charles, and his father William in the line of succession.
