Wilmer Flores, Mets Shortstop, Cries When He Learns Of Pending Trade
Multiple reports placed the reason for the Mets bailing as concern about Gomez’s hip. The Mets are a big-budget team being run like their in a small market.
It turns out it was all for nothing.
Trades aren’t complete…or official until the medical records are exchanged and the league signs off on it. Neither of which happened.
The reason is still unclear.
