Wind advisory issued for today for Pittsburgh region

With Lake St. Clair running fairly high in terms of water levels, strong winds out of the south and southwest could create flooding along the northern shores of Lake St. Clair, especially near Harsens Island. The backside will be quite blustery, but the rain will be gone before the air gets cold enough for any significant snow for our area.
Today’s weather forecast calls for heavy winds and rain in the Racine area and the Federal Emergency Management Agency wants residents to be prepared.
