Winn-Dixie to donate all July 4th proceeds to Wounded Warrior Project
BI-LO said it would donate all profits earned on Independence Day to the Wounded Warrior Project. The first, for every cent of every dollar they make this Fourth of July, all proceeds will go to the project which helps our most severely wounded service members.
“On Memorial Day, we think back to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice”.
The company has announced its plan to donate all of Saturday’s profits from the stores to the Wounded Warrior Project’s Independence Program. “They are really glad that Winn-Dixie is doing this, and I’ve had a lot of veterans come in and shake our hands, and they’re signing our little Wounded Warrior board that we’ve got up here”.
Steven Nardizzi, chief executive of the Wounded Warrior Project, called Winn-Dixie’s effort “vital to our mission to honor and empower our Wounded Warriors, and Independence Day is the flawless time to celebrate”.

“The promise we have made to injured servicemen and women is evident in the kindness from companies like Southeastern Grocers“, he added. WWP is a national, nonpartisan organization headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida.
