Winning Numbers Drawn for $500M Powerball

Many lottery players are stocking up on Powerball tickets for the upcoming drawing for a $500 million jackpot. The annuity is based on the $500,000 jackpot and payments will average $16.6 million per year before taxes. That prize was shared by three winning players in North Carolina, Texas and Puerto Rico.

With a $500 million Powerball jackpot on the line tonight millions of people will be trying to pick the winning combination.

Nobody has matched all six numbers in one of the bi-weekly Powerball drawings since November 7, 2015. The prize holds a cash value of approximately $306 million.

Wednesday the K. J’s Super Store in Malad had a constant flow of people buying tickets hoping to be the next big victor, including a number of Utahns.

The odds of winning are one in 292 million, which means it’s really, really unlikely to win. This is the fourth-largest payout in the game’s history, according to CNN Money.

If no one wins tonight that jackpot will continue to rise, that lucky victor could be picked tonight at 10.
