Winter storm warning for much of Utah
All indications are that eastern Idaho will have a very white Christmas – similar to previous year when a major winter storm hit the region on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
In Cedar City, Beaver, Fillmore, Delta and Milford, the NWS has predicted a chance of rain and snow starting Monday and continuing through Thursday.
More snow and rain will arrive Sunday through Wednesday.

The threshold for a winter weather advisory has been lowered from three inches of snow to two inches in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry and York counties. This storm will bring more scattered showers. Visibility could be a mile or less at times due to snow and fog.
The passes got a break from the snow Tuesday morning. Winter Storm Watches go into effect late tonight through Tuesday.
The winter storm warning in the Shoshone, Richfield and Carey areas is calling for up to eight inches of snow while the storm warning in the Burley, Minidoka, Heyburn and Rupert areas says up to four inches will fall in those communities.
