Winter storm warning Thursday for western Oregon, Washington
Snow covered and slippery roads are expected especially from Thursday night into Friday. Up to a quarter of an inch of total rainfall is expected, and today’s high will be near 42. Temperatures will struggle to break 40, wind gusts top 40 miles per hour and snow is likely. Wind chills in the teens and single digits are likely. Almost all 6 different lake-effect snow ingredients.
A storm heading this way for the weekend could pack a double punch of snow, stretching from Saturday afternoon to Monday morning.
– The Michigan Department of Transportation reminds motorists to adjust speeds based on the conditions, and to take it slow in ice and snow.
