Wisconsin police chase naked driver

A driver left behind a trail of destruction in Wisconsin as he rammed police squad cars, almost killed two civilians, and rolled his pickup truck – before walking away completely naked. Officers pursued for almost three miles on the streets of Waukesha.

He then backed up and took off. The officer following behind in hot pursuit. The driver then lost control of the truck, spinning the vehicle to face the wrong side of the road and colliding with one of the squad cars again.

Investigators say the suspect gained some distance from the officers, but eventually lost control when he attempted to turn into a vacant parking lot off of Progress Ave. The pickup was totaled in the rollover. “He hits this other squad, and he’s just off the squad cam video, but according to officers, that’s when he flips them off”, Waukesha police Capt. Ron Oremus said. Police did have to fire a bean bag at the man to get him to comply as they were taking him into custody.

Police believe he had taken LSD, and been involved in a domestic dispute. During the chase, police say the suspect narrowly missed crashing head-on into a civilian vehicle.

As officers approached the scene, police said the driver, who was naked, was walking away from the truck.

The police officers were not injured.
