POLICE are hunting a man behind an aggravated robbery at a shopping centre carpark in Greenwood on Wednesday.
The woman greeted the victim at the door and invited him into the home, where two men – one armed with a knife and the other an axe – approached him and demanded money.
The suspect is in police custody at the Githurai-Kimbo Police Station in Kiambu.

The alleged gunman then engaged in a struggle with a 27 year-old male, at which point the victim was struck in his head and body numerous times with the firearm, police said.
Ruiru Police Commander James Ng’etich said the suspect identified as Samuel Chege was arrested in Ruiru, Kiambu for allegedly sexually assaulting and violently robbing his victims. The man in the vehicle was shot twice and the woman assaulted with a weapon. Three of the five suspects were armed. One wore a clown mask and carried a rifle that closely resembled an AK-47.
Police immediately began receiving clues after people saw the video. Sgt. Blair Harvey said in a statement.
Sgt. Britt thanked the public for helping to take five violent criminals off the streets. The report was filed at about 3 p.m. Thursday, but police haven’t taken any action, the report said.
Both subjects were remanded to the Johnson County Jail.
