Woman asks Facebook friends to shoot her dog!

The weird posting on Facebook book, made by a woman who lives in Troupe, set off a deluge of comments by individuals who read the odd and dark request.

A Troup woman is sparking outrage after taking to social media asking friends on Facebook to come and shoot her dog.

That was my first instinct, because it would just never occur to me that someone would kill their own dog or any pet for the reason these people apparently wanted to. The woman asked someone to please come kill her dog and that she would “provide the gun” if needed.

The son of the woman answered the door and told a reporter, “I know how the media works”.

Cinnamon has been spayed and a vet gave her a clean bill of health Friday and updated her shots. “It’s devastating”, said Nanette Moss, the Smith County animal shelter director. KHOU reports the animal’s owner told them the large dog had become too much to care for and wouldn’t stay out of the trash. The 3-year-old Saint Bernard and English bulldog mix named Cinnamon has since been picked up by Nicholas Pet Haven and was given to a foster family. “You people are the f****ng devil”. “She’s a sweet dog and how can somebody shoot a sweet dog?”

Cinnamon was taken from this insane lady and she is now with a foster family until she is adopted. “I work with these dogs every day”. The woman will not face charges because she surrendered the dog to authorities.
