Woman-Beating UFC Fighter Brags About Harassing Woman At The Gym
It’s impossible to discuss UFC fighter Anthony Johnson’s insane rant without first addressing his history of domestic violence. In 2010, he pleaded no contest to domestic violence and two other misdemeanor charges and was sentenced to three years’ probation after he allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend’s house and dragged her up a flight of stairs.
The charges were dropped against Anthony Johnson but he will have failed to improve his reputation after posting about the “girl in the gym built like a bag of dry dog food”.
Backlash ensued as Johnson’s tirade spread across social media and while he eventually deleted the original post, he remained defiant in the early stages of the flap.
Aggressive language notwithstanding, Johnson stressed on Twitter that he never physically engaged the woman and had no regrets for snatching the mat from underneath her.
In the most prickish way possible, he also threatened to attack again if she shows up with her yoga mat. Don’t ever run your mouth at me again you won’t win that battle I will. Talking about it was rude that I lifted next to you while you were stretching. I really don’t care!
As of now, Rumble is slated to face England’s Jimi Manuwa at UFC 191 in two week’s time and we’ve got an inkling who the lady in Johnson’s gym will be rooting for. Johnson was not kicked out of the UFC for any of his alleged domestic violence accusations. I’ve been through worse! “Good girl… One more thing stop wearing sports bras when your tummy look like a old country red clay dirt road”.
“Rumble” Johnson is 3-1 since returning to the UFC in 2014. And yet, the guy can’t seem to understand that demeaning and belittling women isn’t acceptable.
She later voluntarily dismissed her complaint in a civil hearing last year before the UFC decided to reinstate him.
