Woman dances while in labor
Dancing the labor pains away is nothing new if you’ve ever taken a glance at such things around the Internet. And by “getting down” I mean straight up 90s style dancing, from the “butterfly” to the “Tootsie Roll“.
“It definitely helped with the pain”, Nishizawa tells Yahoo Parenting of the moves she busted out Tuesday at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
If the Tootsee Roll isn’t your favorite, please watch and learn from her casual Cupid Shuffle.
On Tuesday, August 18, her hubby, Connell Cloyd, posted two now-viral videos – captioned as her “prenatal ritual” – to his Facebook.
Her husband, Connell Cloyd, is behind the camera, and you can hear him laugh as he records.
Nishizawa is wearing an orange summer dress in the video and her dark hair is pulled up in a bun.
A video of her busting some moves while in active labour has been shared more than 50,000 times on social media. “I’m just so surprised”, says Nishizawa.
Cloyd said his wife was at about 7 centimeters when she started doing the dance.
