Woman Hilariously and Perfectly Parodies Celebrity Instagram Shots

Celeste Barber is an Australian writer, actress and comedian who is quickly gaining popularity on Instagram thanks to her hilarious #CelesteChallengeAccepted pictures. Not normal. We know that.

The series sees her recreating Gisele Bündchen’s hair flip, imitating Miranda Kerr eating junk food and lying in a pile of dirt in a Kim Kardashian-inspired fashion shoot. “Kim Kardashian posing in a pile of dirt – who does in that in real life?”

“I’m very pro-woman. I don’t want to be bashing people like Kim K, I actually think “good on her”, she said.

The comedian said it started as something for her friends to laugh at, but now she says she is being sent photos daily and asked to re-create them.

“People are so obsessed with celebrities and celebrities seem to be so obsessed with portraying everyday people”, Barber told the ABC.

“My sister and I just go online and look at stupid photos, we say challenge accepted, and try to recreate it”.

In one post she put together a collage of selfies including herself, Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna and Miley Cyrus where she questioned why the other females follower count soared while she couldn’t even make it into the thousands. “I do”. She got off to a slow start but now everyone’s taking notice.
