Woman Hospitalized By Chipotle Demands Free Burritos Anyway
Marler represented the customers in all 96 cases against Chipotle and noted that several clients were willing to return to Chipotle, despite their hospitalizations.
Seattle-based lawyer Bill Marler, who has handled several foodborne illness cases, told the Boston Globe that the OR resident received about two dozen free burrito coupons as part of her settlement. Chipotle is one of the most overrated fast food joints out there, yet its diehard customers don’t care about the potential health risks – even the ones hospitalized after eating there. “I think in some respects it bodes well for their recovery”, affirmed Marler.
A string of outbreaks plagued Chipotle at locations throughout the country during the last half of 2015. Chipotle’s website concedes there were 510 people sickened previous year.

One 19-year-old just became every restaurant’s coveted customer.
As almost 100 customers sickened after eating at Chipotle previous year have reached undisclosed financial settlements with the restaurant chain, one plaintiff’s appetizing addendum has been made public: Coupons for free burritos, NBC News reported. The client was one of many who were not scared off by food poisoning. “A couple of them, during their case, told me they had gone back to Chipotle – which I thought was a little unusual”.
Marler went on to say that while none of his other clients asked for coupons, he heard others have done the same. Here’s hoping the restaurant threw in some free guac from them or something. “It’s a little odd, but it probably says something positive about Chipotle”.
