Woman Orders Dogs to Attack Man After Argument
Two pit bulls dragged and mauled a man in the Bronx as neighbors screamed and blood streaked the street, graphic video shows.
According to police, Cynthia Oliver, 55, let her two leashed pit bulls go after getting into an argument with a 62-year-old man on Belmont Avenue.
At the same time, you have to note that there are numerous positive stories with pit bulls that counter the sort of attack you’ll see in the video below. In fact, witnesses say the man commented on how attractive the dogs were, and tried to pet them, but then that’s when one broke free from the leash.
Both men were treated at area hospitals, though Bove suffered the worst injuries, CBS New York reported.
Another man who stepped in to fend off the dogs was also injured in the attack and taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital, police said. The dog ripped the man’s ear off, and he had skin hanging from his arms from the multiple bites he received. The 46-year-old suffered lacerations to his arms, according to police.
Her dogs were removed to the city’s Center for Animal Care And Control.
Oliver was arrested and charged with eight counts of assault and two counts of reckless endangerment, police told CBS New York.
